About the project

Avista developed a website for the Hafnarfjordur municipality using the popular content management system (CMS) WordPress. The website was designed to be user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for residents and visitors to find the information they need about the municipality.

The website was coded in an open-source platform WordPress using a combination of HTML, CSS, JS and PHP.

The website’s content is organized into sections, including information about the municipality’s government, services, and attractions. The website also features news and announcements to keep residents up-to-date on the latest developments in the municipality.

Overall, Avista’s use of WordPress allowed for the efficient development of a website that is easy to navigate and provides valuable information to the municipality’s residents and visitors.
