About the project

Eiðfaxi, the magazine that specializes in the Icelandic Horse.

Client Sector: Media

You can’t deny horses are one of the cutest animals on earth, and especially if they are from Iceland. The world around horses in the country is enormous, and what better than a brand that knows about Icelandic horses and shares the knowledge. Eiðfaxi started in 1977 when people interested and with expertise in horses, decided to publish the first issue of the magazine in July. Now, Eiðfaxi is a magazine, also available online, that covers every single topic about horses, this unique breed, and the world around it.

If you haven’t noticed, Icelandic horses are different from anywhere in the world. They can be a little bit shorter and with more hair than usual, something that helps them in the cold weather. So Eiðfaxi is a brand that has been supporting the horseback riding world in the country, its riders, and teams behind the great equestrian sport.

With so much news to tell, a new website was crucial to have. The clients wanted a clean design for people to feel comfortable while reading about their favorite riders and horses. The color palette used included light grey, white, and blue with a hint of yellow lines as a detail. The website has a TV section where different videos are shown related to horse shows, the national team, and other associated events. You can also subscribe to the magazine by paying through a payment solution and have your account to read all the issues of Eiðfaxi since their beginnings whenever, wherever. Check out the website, and don’t forget to fall in love with horses as we did.
